This is a fantastic student film! The story beats and acting were all clear, the character designs and animation were very appealing. Commendations to the whole team! If you are planning on doing more work on it I would recommend challenging yourself to cut it down from 11 minutes to seven minutes, or even five. There isn't any scene you should cut, it's more that the film holds on shots, and key poses within those shots, for longer than it takes for the point to get across. The effect is that the film feels languorous when it should feel madcap. This kind of editing requires a ruthless kind of "kill your darlings" mindset, if you want to try it I recommend finding a student at your school who has not been connected to the project thus far to take a crack at it, they will have a more objective view of your footage. You might be surprised by the results!
